playing backup PSX games from CD with emulator?
I have just installed evolutionX dash, avalaunch dash, Executer's latest bios on my v1.4 xbox with a Xenium chip. I have not yet installed a huge HD. I've also downloaded "bliss" -- apparently a Playstation emulator.
My xbox can read CDR, CDRW, DVD-R, DVD+RW (haven't tested DVD-RW or DVD+R) {newbish question begins here} What do I need to be able to play backup PSX games from the DVD drive? thanks in advance |
Ive never heard of bliss. And I dont think you can play them via a disc, from what I understand you must make them a .bin and .cue file.

Just run the emulator and direct it to the .bin file.
Some games are glitchy remember. Tyler! |
will try soon I hope. I've been looking for
scph1001.bin since my last post. the bios directory contains one text file with [a] google url [edit] I guess I'll take a stab at running it and hope I won't need that bios {weak grin} |
if its a newer version of pcsxbox, yea u need the bios file
the older ones used to have it in the program file itself i recommend u take that link off the post because i believe that theres a reason that pcsxbox hadda take it off too.. the games are glitchy.. yea... even with the newer ones |
I only want to play *one* game:
Intelligent Qube! I tried the homebrew version for DreamCast but it was nowhere near as good :( Soooo it's not ging to work without tie bios bin? :| |
noooooope
u gotta run it off somethin right? |
yay it's working. Despite my best efforts to force SAVES and SCREENSHOTS to a directory under e\emulators\pcsxbox they keep ending up in e:\SAVES & E:\screenshots
Any idea how to force them? For now I think I'll test it from CD as it appears to have been intended :) |
force them?
|
I think you'd have to edit your xml.
Tyler! |
if by force u mean get it to play from a certain locatoin
then yea tylers right |
Thank you, thank you. :)
Tyler! |
hehe no prob
|
