BEST DVD's
What are the absolute best DVD's i can burn on for my ps2
As well, does memorex Dvd-r's work with ps2? |
Memorex DVD-R is not too good, although some people do have some success with them.
Ritek dyed media is the best, for example: Ritek/Traxdata/Verbatim/Ridata |

A note of caution on verbatim, not all of them are ritek dye based. I have had good batches and useless batches (in respect to ps2 usage). Ensure what u are getting b4 u hand cash over.
I personally use Traxdata (Branded Ritek) and use Stomp RecordNowDX4.6 and have 100% sucess rate with dvd backups. Burn speed doesn't seem to worry the ps2 either. I burn all back-ups at 4X and get no problems. Regards;) |
If you want to know what dye a disk have, u might check the www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdmedia site... i found all disks i searched for, and it alsow shows how to check the dye yourself on the disks in your DVD-ROM....
Just a tip! :) |
I use fugifilm Dvd+R 4.7gb/120 min dvds myself. I use DVD Decrypter, to rip an iso then burn it onto a one of my dvd+rs.
I haven't failed once yet, doing so. A pack of 50 fugifilm dvd+rs cost me 60 dollars, at BJ wholesale. Compared to the price at circuit city which is 100+ dollars for a pack of 50. |
