dont try to install the xbit in the 1.0
i tried to do taht and had no success
it fits in the higher v's cuz the holes for the points allow it to easily fall in
now hear this story
its weeeeird **** ill tell ya
so i was tryin to install the xbit
no luck then i realized the dealy wiht the holes
and was like okay
ill go back to doin my matrix
so i was startin to adjust the matrix
the screw liek flew a lil
so i picked it up
put it on the chip for a sec cuz i needed the screw driver
and it rolled onto the nVidia chip
and it started to smoke and sizzle
it was soo weird
and now
it does the stupid three reboot thing
but flashes yellow and green now
how
much
does
that
suck
looks like im onto gettin my fourth xbox

it gets worse
apparently now, when i was using my comp, thereafter, i copying a file to my g drive hard disk
the comp started to freeze
and i turned it off via the power button
i was like okay, it just froze, no biggy
but o wait
it was
when i rebooted it had this error:

Wait, the xbox was on when you installed the chip?

it was the matrix
u gotta keep it on cuz the placements really hard to do
to see where the green light turns on for the chip

I installed an xbit in a v1.0 last week and yeh it's difficult but nomore so that the matrix.

What I found helped was to tilt the xbox onto it's side and align it that way. The only point i tried to align was the g-spot. worked 3rd time.
