Alright, I finally was able to rip gamecube games to my PC. But, My Super Monkey Ball Game crashed right near the end f the process. It did it twice, so it must be my game and not my systems.

I transfered my Legend of Zelda Multi Pack Game, and I'm having trouble running this. I'm currently using Cubesoft Phoenix v2.1 (build 56) I leave everything on default settings with Phoenix. I was able to see the nintendo logo of the zelda game on my gamecube with PSO running. There's no music, just a lot of loud static. Next, I'm able to choose wether I want to play the origianl, or the master quest. No matter which one I choose, the screen goes black, and nothing happens. Any other type of settings I try, I don't even get as far as the nintendo logo. I spent a **** load of money for this process, and even if it runs at 6fps, I still want to play this stuff, could someone please help? I'm tearing my hair out!!! ARGH!! Thank you for your replies!!

I dont know how to make the disk work but but Phoenix has the same emuletor that is on that disc bult in to it so you could rip the N64 roms from it and play them with it I had a frend that had it do that for me so I could play master quest

you do know this is still beta testing right? not all games are fully playable. you will just have to wait for a new loader if one ever comes out. But if you got the GC ISO tool you should be able to edit it and take out the 2 N64 Roms, Original and master quest and use the N64 builtin Emulator in Phoenix to play them.

ok, everything you described in your reply doesn;t make sense to me. I guess I'm trying to play a complicated game on a beta program. Ok then, could someone post a list as to what games are combatable for this program, good, bad, or ugly? Thanks again for your replies!

Type in the name of the game you want to load in the database tab and you probubley can get more info on it

I made a backup of Rebel Strike Rogue Squadron III. I tried to load it with GC Disc Server. I noticed a **** load of dots flying by, also the letter "C" was popping up with them as well. When the screen said "Press Start" I did, and it said Loading, after 5 seconds, the Loading text dissapeared, and on the PC side, the dots went flying like crazy. Everytime I saw the letter "C" appear, I heard my laser trying to search, or do something. Anyway, the game didn't load, the flying dots stopped, and the screen still stayed at black, I waited 10 minutes to see if anything would happen, and nothing did. WTF!!!

Bushwick2002 01-03-2004 18:27

when there are C's appearing on the loader, your cache is too high, lower it.

I tried that, it still does the same thing. The default Cache is 4, I set it to 1, and I still get the same results. I'm starting to get better responses from the streaming using GC Disc Server. My Super Monkey Ball isn't letting me back it up, must be something wrong with my disc, I've been able to back up all my other games. I can't wait for some sort of modchip/swap trick to come to the GC now that we can backup our collections!!

The problem I'm having is that it (Phoenix 2.1) gets stuck at 100% and even if I leave it overnight, not only does nothing happen, but I can't use the gcm either.

infertility 03-03-2004 05:30

I've had the same thing happen to me as well. I've been using the 137 version of Phoenix instead. I like the newer version cause you can create .gcm files, but I guess I'll stick with .iso format, hell, it's backing up my games at 100% :-/

I had no idea you could convert them? could you please explain how?? And I'll send them a bug report right away.

I'd think you'd know that with the 200gb hard-drive you have for the xbox, ... since its recommended to have a 5200 rpm hdd in an xbox, since it generates less heat.

The stock xbox hdd has a 5200 rpm hdd.

Bushwick2002 12-03-2004 16:07

5400rpm harddrives are hard to find now a days. I'll just stick a 200hd 7200RPM with a better fan for xbox.
