controller port ribbon cable....
 

The ribbon that connects the controller port to the circuit board is fine. its the plastic connector on the circuit board thats broken. the ribbon will slide into it but the plastic cover that snaps on top of it is broken. whats a fix to hold the ribbon in place? you cant replace the pastic connector. right now i have some tape holding in place.

also how do you get a stuck game out of the drive? i tried pulling the tray out but it wont budge. thanks

I know what u mean. The flip piece. Maybe u can get one of someone with spare parts or motherboards.

You might be able to glue the ribbon in permenantly with some non conductive pcb glue.

To get a stuck disc out of the drive undo the 4 small black screws on top of the drive, lift the lid off and take the disc out.

thats how i got the disc out. But the tray only comes out half way. I dont see anythign in there to block the tray and it opens smooth.
