I did a controller usb mod, I put in my fathers 16mb pen drive and it reformatted it, deleting everything. It read as a standard memory unit.

oh, i read that wrong. Yah, you can do the tsop flash with a memcard hack, but you need to solder 2 points together because it is flash protected.
