How do I reset with a modchip installed
 

I wondered if there was a way to reset the xbox as if the chip was switched off.

You know when you want to change game, just onpen the tray and it boots back to the dash (ms dash) insert a new game, close tray and it loads.

Can that be done?

uhh, whats so bad about turning off the chip and then normal rebooting?

unless of course, you dont have a switch on the outside of your xbox. then it would be a real pain to do that. (having to open up your box every time you wanted to go on live)
now, im not sure about avalaunch or unleash x (i know u said you wanted to get one of those insted of evox) but evox has an option to go back to original ms dash. im not sure if you could go on live even if youre using that dash though, cuz it doesnt ACTUALLY turn off the modchip, it just puts it back to the msdash.

No, I have a swith it the Xecuter 2.3, I will just turn off the box then turn it back on again.

That will be the easiest way.

In EvoX settings, just turn IGR to off and rely on your bios' IGR.
Thats what i do, and it works for me. Everytime i eject the tray it straight away goes back to EvoX menu.
