C&C Generals No-CD v.1.7
 

i downloaded the Generals v1.7 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE from Game Copy World and it said to replace the existing generals.exe file with the one from this file... when i open this file all i see is game.dat and an .nfo file:confused: .... any idea where i can get a no-cd patch for C&C Generals or how i can fix this?

You need this GAME.DAT for V1.7 and the fixed GENERALS.EXE from the V1.0 Crack.
The EXE never change when you Update the game.

Hello together,
I just told me a thumb, cause i have really not much idea about handling with "patches" especially the the "No-CD" patches.

I have a original C&C Game ;) shared
-.- just jokeing. My Generals CD ist damaged, and doesn't play but it install its files normaly. So i though to get a No-CD patch, and i got it. But there was no Orders with to know how to use it.

I just put this downloaded file into the Generals directory with those other datas, there was a game.dat and executor.nfo with the generäle.exe data.

I i click to this probably new game starter it contents, that the launcher config file is missing, and i should start the game from its install directory, but there is no install directory, i made one and put this file in it, but it showed me the same message.
Can u guys please post me a link to faq, which describes in pieces what to do? or might u tell me? In this faq here i found nothin.

I forgot to say, that i replace the game.dat data, and i will try to get a fixed generals.exe?? from V.1.0??

Thanks, but i have another question!

Can someone tell me, how i can look which Version i have?
I don't know why my C&C Trainer didn't work, its maybe the wrong TrainerVersion but i dont know my version, how can i look for it?

Just click on Options and you will see the version number!

Open the executor.nfo file with notepad or wordpad, whatever one shows it better :)

Or get a free nfo viewer, like DAMn Nfo viewer.
