ps2 no mod
 

Just a few questions,
Is there anyway i can play burned DVDs on a ps2 (without a mod)?
And is there anyway to play burned ps2 games (without a mod)?

If so what stuff do i need? thx

Aarrgg!! Not again!! The answer is no. Unless you use swap crap. But the majority of the members here including I will sway you from using that crap that will in the end BLOW UP YOU PS2. That’s right evo I said blow it up!

yeah u got to watch out cause when it blows it will take out a whole city block :rolleyes: just remeber when install the mod ur self be sure u know what u r doing cause u will f**k up the ps2 10x times more then a no solder and be sure to get u a good installer unlike me had to return the unit 2 times to get a install done :mad: but u can always pay sped to do it for u :D and yes u can burn games w/o a mod

no u will need eather of these

no mod way will need eather a slide card or flip top out of the 2 i would go with flip top slide cards r tricky to use and u have to force the tray open


mod ways u will eather need a no solder chip or a solder chip solder chips r the best but u have to have some one to solder it in and in canada that might be tricky to find one but u never know but the no solder works as well but u got to swap disk kinda like a ps1 boot disk thats what i used till i got enough cash to get a solder job done then i went with a solder job

so u will need 1 of the 4 listed above to play copied ps2 games but u can burn them all u like just need a way to play them u use Record now max for burning the games its posted at the top in ultm sticky info

I dont care if you live at the North Pole there is no way i would WASTE my hard earned cash on a flip lid, no-solder, slide card or a swap magic disc. There are crap and everyone has problems with them, if not we wouldn't have to continually answer questions like this.If you can't afford a no-swap chip +install then SAVE until you can!!

And yeah just save up until you can afford to do it right other wise you will be plagued with problems and not happy with your PS2 ever.

yes its the same for xbox as well. you need a modchip.

oh yea u also have to have the modchip disabled to play games online as of dnas protection read the ultimate info sticky!
