Microsoft Signing
 

Has anyone tried using Hex Editor on a ORIGINAL Xbox disk and find the Microsoft signature that the Xbox looks for? I was just thinking that there might be a way to use Hex Editor or something and make it so that burned games are "signed" by microsoft, there by enabling them to work on a unmodded Xbox.

wouldnt work mate. caus u still got to rip the game from the xbox unless u softmod and thats the same amount of $ to get it installed by a pro!

The way I understand it is it’s the media it self. The XBox knows its recorded DVD or a pressed DVD. And some thing that has to do with it being pressed. Not 100% sure on that though.
