i have hopeful succefully installed a messai mod chip in my ps2 and we it is switched on i get a message sayin configuration?? can any1 help

is your playstation brand new/unplayed what version is it??

You only get that screen if your PS2 has never been turned on, or if during the install of your mod chip, the PS2 lost its battery power some how. Just go through the configuration screen and all will be well unless you have an older model PS2 and forgot to plug the battery wires back into the motherboard in which case you will get the configuration screen every time you turn on your PS2. What version is your PS2?
