no software that can read a x box game besides x box itself
 

you mean to tell me that there is no software that can read a x box game from my dvd rom drive in my puter .and that the only way to make a backup is to connect my x box to my computer .what a hastle !!thank you all these great software programs out there an i gotta hook up my x box to read ehats on a dvd x box game sheeessshhh thank you bnke1 im surprised there is nothing like even possilble bleeeeem 4 x box

its not just the software it's also the pc dvdrom
but i don't mind going through the trouble it don't take me long and i'd rather keep my original scratch free

Just get a bigger hdd on your xbox. Then just save to it. That way now you wont even have the hassle of discs.

you know what i might just do that myself i'm getting really fed up of backing them up think i'll invest in some torx screwdrivers and update myself

so even if u take ur hard drive out an replace it an install ur old hd in ur puter u still cant read them can you read from an x box that is not modded yet i am waiting 4 mine to be delivered can i at least try to copy my games b4 i mod my box and will or can the evox software be installed on a unmodified box and then be removed .or how do i copy what is originally on the x box hd.

Xbox hdd is formatted differently. You have to reformat it in order to read it in a pc, meaning it will be erased. The only way to copy anything from the xbox without a chip, is with a softmode, which is way more of a hassel.

can i install evolutionx onto my x box and how do i copy whatever is allready on there or partion it so i only get 1 or the other is this very hard or should i just wait 4 my mod chip im going with the alladin advanced is this a good chip i hope soty bnke1

i have the alladin advance in one of my xboxs never had any problems with it
you have to have it modded in some way to do anything with your xbox
