MP3 and DIVX on XBOX
 

How do I make it work?
I recorded a CD-RW with my MP3s and anther with some DIVX (also tried wmvs) videos but i dont get to read em... Whenever i choose MP3 and DIVX players on the evox main menu it shows only a screen with the setup otions and nothing more... How do i run the files? also tried to copy them to the HDD but the evox file explorer doesnt show nething on the CD (not even the WMVs)...
What do I do?

well you could play the MP3 and divx movies on the Xbox using Xbox Media Player

thats the point... the xbox media player doesnt work...

Do you know if your xbox drive even reads cdrw? I know mine doesnt.

xbox media player should work...
if u can get to the disc drive, yea it should...
check the .xml file to make sure it connects fine, which it should
if not, then use the xbox media center
it gets updated quite often
i suggest ftpin ur files to the xbox's hdd though
its easier that way

i was told that some drives could even cd-r but all drives should read rw media... if my drive doesnt read cd-rw ill just have to buy a dvd recorder or can the dvd drive be replaced?

all of em should read the cdrws no matter what.. perhaps tyler could have a disc problem specifically to his

Is there any new media player or somthing like that? If so what is the name and witch version should i look for ( im not gonna ask where to get it cause i dont wnat this post to be closed ;))
