Pal to NTSC with Magic 3.1

I have a Magic 3.1 mod chip and bought an original pal game from the UK. I cannot get the game to appear in color. Is there a boot disk I can use? I don't want to buy a converter or anything as this is the only game I have that I cannot play. I want to avoid spending more money if possible as it is only 1 game right now that I am having problems with.

There is a color fix you can do to the mobo....its just one wire that bridges two points. What version is your PS2?

I have a version 7 ps2. If there is another way, I would like to avoid opening the ps2 again. I have a couple of problems the first time and ended up scrapping a couple ps2s.

yeah get a PAL to NTSC patch ...???

wait....are you in the US what video standard is your PS2?

Thanks, I have seen that option, but I currently don't have a DVD burner that is working, I don't want to Rip the game as it is a new game and I want to see all the videos and sounds. I was hoping for a quick fix in the short term that involved a swap disk or something. I don't want to go out and buy a game shark or anything. I was hoping for a free utility boot disk, but if it does not exist, I guess I will have to patch it.

Thanks,

Let me make sure I have it correct for the process. I have to copy the game with something like cdr-win. Then I can patch the bin file and then burn it back to a dvd. My problem now is that I don't have a dvd burner. I only have a CDR.

ohh I see your problem...
