would the xbit work without the yellow and black cables to the mode module thing?
i mean
like could the xbit be workin by itself without anythying besides the placement? or do u need the extra thing?

i take it you mean the external board,yes it must be connected for the xbit to work right

the yellow and black wires go to the external board where it controls the disable of the mod as well as flashing it with a new bios
