Hey,

I am getting the Magic V 5k6 this weekend for my V10 ps2 (50001). Is that the best choice for my version? Also, how can i make sure that what they put me is not a clone? And finally, can they change what's inside the ps2 with an older peice of another version ps2?

They can do whatever they feel like. If you are really worried put a mark on a part that you are worried about such as the laser assembly. The only way to tell if you are getting the real deal if by opening up your ps2.
