A sad pathetic question
 

Is there a gameshark code that can be used to convert PAL to NTSC and vice versa, or did I just burn myself a new coaster?

Well for the most part you burned yourself a new coaster. You need to patch your image with a PAL 2 NTSC patch before you burn it.

Actually, you know what? After reading some of the other posts, I decided to try the import player from megagames.com, and it worked great. It also helped defeat the anti-mod protection on Legend of Dragoon for me! w00t
