Do you think if I can read a book or something that I can install a duo into my version 4 by myself?

If you have no soldering experience find a pro. Where are you located?? Maybe we can help you find a installer.

i thnik loys in maine thats not to far away i dont think he charges 30$ for installs but u got to buy the chip and pay shiping im not sure if return shiping is include and BTW what version ps2 r u useing

Well he did mention V4! ;)

The V4 has a couple of tricky connections even with the DUO chip so I agree visit a pro.

yea the memory card ribbon cables a bit nasty to put back in.
