I did a search and cant find any tutorials on how to soft mod my x-box can anyone point me in the right direction or walk me through it? Thanks in advance.

what's wrong with the site you blotted out.... I'm not aware they list warez etc, .... they operate under as strict a set of rules as yourselves

check the trading section. I checked 3 threads. None were legal.

How am i asking or trading something illegal when every other thread here talks about modding x-boxes? If you guys dont know how to do it just say so. Dont try to make it look like im doing something against the rules.

Softmodding requires that you have:

-007:AUF or MechAssult
-Action Replay/Mega-k-key (or another modded xbox+memcard, or the xbox usb cntrllr mod + 16mb pen drive and xb->pc cable)
-No online XBL subsciptions, you can never go online.
-bunch of xbox apps (pheonix biosa loader)

For additional onboard flashing
-solder 2 points together


Basically you have to get a hacked gamesave into your xbox. Which are those game saves listed above (one or the other). You load up the gamesave and it boots evox. There are other tutorials, but yo uinstall something called pheonix bios loader which loads hacked bios off the hdd.

i say its a waste of money. if you have to buy all that you might as well pay a pro to do it.

me too. I alse advice to just get a chip. I mean, it costs as much as an action replay, and there is nothing an AR can do that a modded box can't. Hell, you can even install it without soldering.
