problems with tekken4 and soul calibur 2
 

tekken4 after changed the disk from swap magic 2.0, freeze afeter press start in namco's screen. I press start, i hear a sond and the screen became black :(

soul calibur 2 works but there are 2 character that i can't choose because when i go on they with the cursor, texture of the character don't load and the image of character is white. if i choose one of this 2 character, i can't play and i must press select+start to return at the start screen :(

pls help :(

theres another prob with swap magic! i wud recomend a real chip like the almighty DMS3! but if u strap fro cash duo,messiah, smartchip(v9) apple or any non swap will fix that up!

mmm.. i play tekken tag very well on cdr with swap magic...

soul calibur starts and i can play well but i don't think that the problem is the modchip.. once it's started, and can play the swap magic do its work no?

i've a scph 30004.. i don't know what chip need to install (if i'll install it in the future)

mine works just fine when tested with swap magic its prob bad burns cause if it was swap magic it would not even boot the game like in sc2 2 peps u cant play that has to be media problems what kinda dvd-rs u useing

Definatly a media problem. Try better DVDr-s

i haven't used dvdr, but cdr. Verbatim Cdr. my hardware is P2 400 80gb, s3virge (pc for download) and i've a Lg 4081b dvd+-rw & RAM.

you are sayng that i must copy sc2 on a dvdr, like verbatim is ok?

Can be ripped bad?

o that must be the problem ur useing a rip u need to get a dvd burner they work much better

i don't understand.. are you sayng that if i burn it on a dvd probably works better? on my lg 4081b i saw that i can select 1x (1350kb/sec) but i think is too high because when i insert the dvd copied at 4x (5000kbsec) appears pink border on insert disc's screen loaded by swap magic. this menas that is it copied too speed.

at cdrom 4x it copy at 600 kb sec and game starts but if i copy a dvd at 1x it goes at 1350kb/sec then is too high no?

Swap magic doesn't play rips worth a crap. Make an image of your original game and burn onto a dvd-r.
