which chip 2 get????
 

narrowed down to these: apple pro, magic v, duo or dms3 (though id prefer not to spend all the cash on the dms3..is it really worth it?) am i on the right path? whats my best bet?

oh yeah can i use my code breaker cd w/ any of these chips?

yes you can use your codebreaker..i think as i am able to use my gameshark! as for direct boot from browers i cant speak for other chips but with the dms3 chip it works (for any ps2 games) as if they were all original, you can boot from browers and if you go to browers and wait for it to reconize the disk it will say ps2 disc. hope this helps.
