if you have an IDE drive, make sure you set the recording speed slide bar to record to an image first, otherwise you are probaby getting buffer underruns. |
I have tryed to copy the cd on to the hd 1st using the cd to image selection
and set the read speed to x1 but i still get the same error message could i have got some thing set up wrong in windows ??? i have auto insert turnd off is there any uthere settings i can try ??? |
do you have DMA on or off, check your burners manual as to whether DMA should be on or off.
what make and model burner do you have. older burners seem to have problems with the self booting games. |
I have got DMA set to on
and have Disconnect and Syncdata transfor set to on as well is this wright p.s my burner is a HP 8250i rewrighter |
Can u help me out
|
what does your burner's manual say. i surely do not know. follow it accordingly.
|
ok..your going to have many problems since the hp writers dont support the multi session burning required for the dc self boot games...
|
The burrner works the same with DMA on or off
and as for the multi sessions i do not get the grayed out box in cdrwin my problem is when its trying to read the cd as dj 2 comes up with appliction error invalid block address but this only happons on 2 of my cds powerstone 2 and sega marine fishing but on games like dynamic cop and jet grind radio it works fine |
I had similar problems I switched to DJ3 (latest supports DJ2 Images) and that solved it for me, give that a try.....
