Questions about DVD Shrink

Can someone help me out with a few questions about dvd shrink?

What exactly happens when you take out some of the audio? There is no need for any other language other than english right (I only speak and understand english)?

Should I keep all the english audio files?

Same with the Subpicture. There really isn't a need to keep any other language than english right? And should I keep only one english when there is more than one?

I have like 25 files on my desktop once I compressed the dvd, which one do I burn?

I can use primo to burn the image right?

And do I burn the movie like I do a ps2 game?

Thanks for All the Help!!!

Chris

i have a question
if you re-author a back up and include only the movie file does it select all the audio

If you keep the movie only, you can only keep one audio file with it. Because there is no way to select from 2 if you only have the movie file there.

This is what I do all the time. My kids only speak french so I have backed up all the original titles we had and included only the french track and the movie.

This is excellent because my 4 years old open the door, put the backup DVD in and pushes the door, and the movie starts playing in the right language.

Now, I know I can select the defaut language from the player MENUS (not the FILM menu) because this is what I use to do before so my kids dont have to worry about it.

I am not sure if I leave 2 audio tracks on the DVD if I can still select the language...I need to test that.

Have fun

that's what I always do:
re-author the main movie with german and english AC-3/2 tracks.

Then I can choose within PowerDVD or the standalone menu the audio tracks.
Since I dont have a 4.1/5.1/whatsoever loudspeaker setup I only include the stereo (AC-3/2) tracks.
