SafeDisc 2.90 solutions

I've burnt a SafeDisc-protected CD from image and couldn't run it. I've tried the emulation options from Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools, but neither helped. When I run the program the "Insert CD..." message didn't popup, but instead it crashes at startup and the log shows that the module "~df394b.tmp" is where the error occured.

Is there a more reliable way to bypass the SafeDisc 2.90 protection, such as an unwrapper and such? (Neither unsafedisc and safedisc cleaner supports SD 2.90...)

crash in ~df394b = decrypt key generated = bad.. ie: your image is bad.. try making it again at a lower speed

Just use Alcoholer v4.1 and everything will be fine.

Well, Alcoholer is not helping you looking at your earlier posts. Identifying the protection is one thing, correct settings another, but nothing will help specific burners that can't read or perform correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns.

For example, you'll die of old age before an LG CED burner can finish reading LaserLock, Ring PROTECH or SafeDisc 2/3. The CED is also good for producing CDs that end up on the coffee table, regardless of settings, because it has one of the worst coded chipsets on the planet.
