NTSC CDs on modded PS2 (PAL) still B&W
 

Hi gamers,
I've got a modded PS2 (mars chip) and all backups/imports etc.. work/boot fine. However, the NTSC backups/originals all output in B&W on my TV.

I've bought one of those gold scarts with GCon somthing or other that says that claims the games come out in color, but in fact they're still B&W.

If I connect the PS2 to a projector (should try it it's cool!) they are in color. Does that mean that the TV is a pal only tv?

The TV could do NTSC since I had NTSC zoned dvds from a DVD player play fine (and in B&W on other tellys).
