Magic-V 5K6 V10 install
 

Hi all

I finally got a chance to install a Magic V 5K6 in a V-10 here is a link to the install pictures

I have tested it with everything I can with no problems what so ever. Like I said the other day Magic has finally go it together. Now if only the Apple team would produce a V9/V10 compatible chip!!

Thought you would like to know that the Apple team are in the process of making a v9/v10 chip. It will be here soon.

r u going to get one ir u just going to stick with the old trusty apple pro ?

No need to buy another ps2 just so I can get their new chip. 1 PS2 is enough for me.

Looks good spedmetal, You gotta love those tiny VIA's :D . I havent done a v10 yet but my shipment of 50K's just got in, i installed one last night and am glad to say it works perfect. Like you said, Magic has finally got it together.BTW i got the chips from Console Corner. Thanks for the tip. They gave me a good deal.

Thats awsome.... I cant wait. Where did you hear this bighap? @ Warlock yeah I have had great succes with The Console Corner. Very nice guy/guys.

*EDIT* After the new revelations about the console corner I have edited this post so every one will know that they should be avoided!!!!

well im getting a magic 3.1 install chip never used a magic b4 so i cant say much about it but what ever it is it was a free chip with a free install so i cant complain 95$ total costing v7 unit and all modded i can always use this as a backup in case my v9 craps out again

EvoEvo looks like that v7 is pritty handy atm hehe :)
