DMS3 Compatibility...
Is the DMS3 ver. 2 compatible with the Version 10 PS2s? I am confused on this. I'm pretty sure I read on the forums somewhere that it wasn't but I thought that I read somewhere that it was. If it isn't compatible is there any work being done to fix this problem? Thanks in advance for the replies.

DMS3v2.0+ V10 PS2= no go!
DMS3v9+ V10 PS2= AWESOME!! do you get it? |
I feel like such an idiot but I don't get it?? I must not be fully awake yet. They make a version 9 DMS3??
Or are you saying to have a V9 PS2 modded with a DMS3 and aslo an unmodded V10 PS2? Sorry bout the confusion. |
they make a V9 DMS3 modchip. This chip works on PS2 versions 9 and 10! The DMS3v2 only works on PS2 versions 1-8. AKA: you need a V9 DMS3 to work in your PS2 v 10!

Thanks so much. I don't know why I didn't understand the wording of your reply. It didn't make sense why they would use v2 for 1-8 and then skip to ver9 for a version 10 ps2. Thanks though!

the reason for v2DMS3 for v1-8PS2s is because this was an updated version. they then went to version 9 DMS3 (originally for the v9 PS2) then $ony comes out with a v10 PS2 and the v9DMS3 chip works on it so instead of changing the name of the chip they just leave it!

I see. Thanks so much for the help.
