No Warning on Backup disk
 

After backing up “The Legend of Dragoon” I get a red NO symbol with some unreadable writing behind it. I read somewhere that this was Sony’s attempt to stop game play with a modchips. Is there a way around this?

Yes, this is a protection used by Sony. It needs to be patched. Look here
