Question about Mod-chips.ca's Magic V
 

ok being a little impatient, i bought a magic V version 10 from mod-chipas. ca without checking my ps2 ,as i was out of town when i ordered the thing. However, when i checked my ps2, its actually a v9.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the V10 only version of the magic V that mod-chips.ca sells is in fact the magic V5k6 which works on both v9 and v10, or if its a "special" version that's v10 only (and thereby requiring me to exchange it if possible). thanks in advance

If you are asking if the Magic V 5k6 chip will work in your V9 console, the answer I'm sorry to tell you is no. You will need to buy the Magic V 50K for your V9.
