Have I done this right?? Newbie
 

Hi to all,
I have just tried to make a backup of 'Enter the Matrix'.
I have a pioneer dvd AO6, and I used Nero 6. I just copied the whole disk to my hard-drive and then burnt it (as is)onto a Verbatim dvd-r using 2 speed. I have a magic 3 chip. When I put the back-up in the ps2 it would not boot, just keeps saying 'reading disk'. I have never tried to do my own backups, but I have others that do work. Do I have to add anything extra to the image file. Have I done everything right. I really have no idea, any suggestions would be appreciated, it did say it burnt successfully, it just seemed too easy? Have I missed something.

what version do you have it may not read beacuse you have a v7 ps2

or try chainging the program u use the one everyone on here uses. its called record now max go on www.seaneybsdownloads.cjb.net and download it there its the trial version but you can buy it from somewhere i donno yet.

Yes I do have a v7, but I don't understand how come it will read my other backups but not the one I did myself.
I have read the 'stickys' at the beginning of the forum.
Do I have to do something different if I have a V7?

You either probably made a bad burn or this is another case of the crappy Magic 3 chips.
