xbmp or xbmc?
 

Hi guys, which is most recommended for the intended purpose of viewing numerous media files such as mp3, divx, avi etc...?
or which is generally better?
Its kinda confusing for me.

Both made by the same team. Not sure what the major differences are, but xbmc is their newer project. I'd go with that one.

does anyone have a clue how to install xbmc?
it seems so complicated...

xbmc off xbins is sorta like a constant upgrade to the xbox media player
\its ur choice really.. they both run off the same kinda .xbe file
just search for that and ull be fine..
i have a semi-recent xbmc and i still like my xbmp better just cuz the scrolling is better
but the xbmc does have a better way to get to movies and all that

ok ive got an xbmp zip file with a default.xbe and a whole heap of .jpg, .txt and a few .bmp plus other misc files.
Do i just create an iso of this using craxtion then burn to cdrw?
Can i then use boxplorer to copy these files into a created folder on my xbox hdd?
Theres also these .xml files which look odd, do i add these as well

just add them all
xml is like a webpage file i believe
but u can keep it in there
u run files off the defeault.xbe.. usually always..
u can ftp the stuff to the xbox to skip the burning part
