Is it possible to play "avi" types of movies without a mod-chip

Sure. Just not on your PS2.

Ok ok. There's a product that lets you stream video from your PC to the PS2, but it requires:

- PS2 Network Adapter ($25+)
- This special CD/card combo ($50+)
- A hub/switch ($20+)
- A PC conveniently close to your PS2 ($500+)

Why not install a Mod chip?

No i just never knew that you need to have so many thing to do it

May as well just get a dvd burner.

All you need is a mod and PS2 Reality Player. Much easier.

heh just buy u a video card for ur pc with tv out be alot cheaper :)
