Repairs for PS2 unit
 

Does any know of a place where I can have my PS2 repaired? I live in St. Louis, MO.

It will not read most discs. After inserting a disc I can hear clicking noises. It tends to read disc a little better in the vertical position.

I have tried cleaning the discs and blowing out dust with compressed air to no avail.

I have the feeling the laser is out of alignment.

Send it to Bill of www.freedomlives.com Might need a new laser put in.

mine did the same thing i bought one long time ago on ebay as a broken system relly cheap but it played 1/2 ass and it clicked and worked better when setting up i had to trun it all dif ways to get it to play lol so i called sony and told them i bought it off ebay and b4 i got to tell them it was bought broken they said send it back to them and they would fix it free :) and i sent it back 2 weeks later i got it back and worked like new and had a new warrenty on it but in the mean time i bought a working one so i just sold it on ebay for 170$ shiped but it wasnt the laser they did some stuff and cleaned it it didnt say any thing about replaceing the laser u could always call them u might get lucky as well :)
