PS2 and PAL/NTSC
 

Hi,
I live in Finland and have purchased my PS2 in Finland. I was on holidays in the USA and bought the PS2 game Lord of the rings:return of the kings (i.e. no pirate!) but didn't realize that it does not play in my PS2 because of the territorial restrictions.
Is there any way to override these territorial restrictions (NTSC/PAL is assumingly the problem)? Could you explain it in a dummy way :)

The best way to overcome this problem, is to get a mod chip.

A mod chip allows you to play imports and backup games.

you can get mod chips all over the place www.modchip.cc i heard are quite good ans ship anywhere.

I recommend the duo chip only 17 wires to solder into your ps2 motherboard.
