ps2 backup disc does not work /w DMS3 Modchip?!?!!
 

HI!
I'm using a DMS3 v 2.0 Modchip. I downloaded an ps2 image file (smackdown 2 from eselfilme.com) an burned it on to a recommended verbatim cd-r. When i press "x" for the ps2 boot mode a screen appears saying" Please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc". All other functions of the chip are available (dvd movie playing, ps1 backup disc playing) but it is not possible to play the ps2 backup disc. do i have to use a dvd-r for ps2 backup?or do i have to patch the image before burning altough i have a modchip?
I am very thankful for your help, because i do not know what to do....

i read the rules but posted because i already bought the game and do not want to back it up by myself.and only because of this i downloaded the image.

Even if you have bought the game, it's still illegal to download game images.
there are good backup toturials in stickies, follow them and make backup from your own original disk.

i am really sorry, i did not now that it's still illegal to download an image altough i bought the game. i assume that because of this you don't want to answer my question any more?
