burning a DVD
 

hi all....
im kinda new to burning dvd's. I am currently usingDVD X Copy XPress to burn my dvd's. Ive done maybe 8 so far and every one that I have done seem to jump or pause half way through the movie. Im not sure if its the discs I use (DVD +R Media Cache.... not sure if thats the make of them) or if its the program Im using or if its my computer. When I burn a dvd I put the original into the burner, it makes a copy, then it asks me to insert a blank dvd disc, it then burns the dvd. Then when you watch them you get to half way through the movie, thats when it pauses and jumps and does wierd things. Please can someone set me straight....maybe Im doing something wrong. Please help......Thanks Karen :confused:

Try using a better brand of dvd discs, such as Ritek, Traxdata, etc..

Also, make sure you are NOT running any other programs while you are backing up the dvd....
