How to put a ps2?
 

Hi guys, anyone know the best way to put a modded ps2,so that it last longer? or it doesn't matter,

i heard verticaly extend the lense life span? is any true of out it? the other way around ?

I use mine horizontally in a well vented area. I did read about the vertical bit once and was told to just make sure it was well vented and I wouldnt have any problems. As of now, this has proved true for me. (so far). Just dont store it in an enclosed area, and you should be fine. Also dont store on any type of fabric, or lay it on the carpet, as this will allow heat to build up and eventually ruin it.

Having your ps2 in the vertical position allows you to have a "free floating laser" this way your laser is able to get closer to the disc without the pull of gravity pulling against it. It is a recommended better way if your having hard reading times.


This was found out in the ps1 days as well.
