Does DIablo 2 have a protection?

like does it have any securerom, safety disc watever protection??

cuz i would like to make a back up copy of it but i dont want to go through the trouble of disabling the protection (if any)

so is there any protection or can i just make a straight copy with clone cd or alchol 120%

Diablo 2 is protected with "the old" SecuRom.
So you only need a burner that can handle subchannel data!
Then use Alcohol120% with its SecuRom profile...

ok so i burn it with alcohol?

also since i only have one cd rom drive, i need to make an image, could i make an image with iso buster?? than burn it with alcohol 120% on securom

You have to read the image with Alcohol120% and then burn it with Alcohol120% !

well, i have an iso made from isobuster, could i just use like securom and disable the protection or sumthin?

or can i just burn it with alcohol?

It sounds like you don't have the original cds!

My two posts in this thread tells you how to make a backup of the original cds.
Nothing more to say...

lol

see i alreeady have an image that i made from isobuster, im to lazy to make one from alcohol (mainly cuz it takes forever)

so all i wanna know is could i still use the iso buster image, then like use a securom disabling program to disbale the protection and then burn it?

cuz for unreal tournament, i burned it but i didnt know about protections and all that, so i tried it and it said plz insert the cd so im like crap, then i found out what protection it had, and i disabled it, and now i dont have to put in the cd anymore
