PW3 anti-disconnect trick
the browser is actually looking for "planetweb" in the path so you just have to put it anywhere in the links/URL of the documents you want to load :)
for example http://www.yahoo.com will display the page and disconnect with the error message saying your browser is damaged now just try http://www.yahoo.com?planetweb and you wont be disconnected anymore :) thx to hrb2k and bucanero for sharing files and infos i couldnt find this without them ;) i think the offset of the string checked is 0016E36C in the 1st_read.bin but i didnt try to replace it yet, let me know the result you obtained if you did it |
pw3 has been cracked!!! now i can post on these boards since DPP can't.
anyway, you have to hex edit the 1st_read.bin. go to the offset mentioned in the above post. you should see, "planetweb". in the hex window, replace the hex codes with this, 2E00 0000 0000 0000 0000 now, "planetweb" should now be replaced with all periods in the text box. the 2E in the hex is actually a dot or period. and since the unhacked bin needed "planetweb" in the path to stay connected, it now needs a dot/period. every url has a dot in the path so now pw3 won't disconnect on you. remember, there are still protections that have not been cracked. so when you burn, the lba *NEEDS* to be 45000. enjoy!!! ;) |
