does neone noe if socom 2(original) will workwith an online pack if i hav a messiah modchip?

You need the original game to play and your Messiah 2 must be turned off.

i dont have a messiah 2 i have a messiah 1 and i heard that some games u dont need to turn off ur chip to play on line

Sorry all new games will have DNAS.

What you heard is about the older games like SOCOM 1 which didnt have DNAS.


You will not be able to play your newer games online because your chip cannot be turned off.


You probably need to upgrade your chip and/or ps2.

Wouldnt it be nice if there was a list of games with DNAS and a list with out. Any one know if there is one some place already going?

Have NEO2.2 and beta SOCOM 2 and so far fine

Basically all online games released with in the last 6 months has DNAS protection.

Naw we dont need another freakin list of games for anything.

And I didnt mean a list here. I was just wondering if there was one already some place. The 6 month way of telling is good for today but as time goes on ...well me and time just arent good friends. Any way I dont really care it would just be nice to know which ones do and dont so I could label my back-ups this way.

Beta's dont necessarily have DNAS (because they are betas). :rolleyes:

I must recommend you get another chip unless you intend on getting a new laser or ps2 soon.

Didnt intend on being rude, just that every game made now has DNAS. And lists are a pain to keep up.
