How to install:
- Install the game - Full Installation.
- Download & Install Official patch 1.01.
- Replace the original GENERALS.EXE executable with the one from the File Archive.
- Play the Game!

Note: Visual Basic runtimes are required to use this NO-CD. You can download them from here: http://finewolf.colute.net/vbr_setup.exe

do you think it would be a good idea to use the old crack? Someone on the board says it's working.

FineWolf, could you tell me which files are modified by your 1.01 crack?
I'm asking because I already tried it on my zero hour 1.02. Before doing this I backed up the following original 1.02 files:

-generals.exe
-game.dat

Does your 1.01 crack modify any other files?

generals.exe & game.dat yup. But the problem is that, you can not use an old game.dat
