hi every now and then i get a dvd the my player wont read but it will work on my pc is there any way to stop this

Use better media for your backups.

Try using Ritek media with the G04 die.

Probably one of the best if not the best for Backups.

GO3 or GO4 either one will work. The only differences is price and speed of burning.
