Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga

I'm want to play "Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga" on my Ez-Flash Card but I can't save the game I just get a "Save error"-message... What should I do to fix that?

TylerDurden 16-12-2003 16:02

It has a different way of coding for saves so Im not sure it can be backed up with just the Ez Flash Card that you have. Thats how its always been with just about any "Mario" type game.

Isn't there any way to fix that?

TylerDurden 17-12-2003 13:56

None that I know of at the moment. Maybe something will come later.

Here is the GBATemp patcher

Sorry mate, I didnt see your post earlier... Anyway here is the link for the V124_Patcher5:
EEPROM Patcher
BTW while Fileforums is great for fixes for PC backup, you should try GBATemp for all your GBA backup needs.

@Tyler: If you are talking about Super Mario Advance 4, then there is a working IPS for proper SRAM save.

Cheers

Thanks for that patcher. Does it work for all these types of saves?

BTW, we dont talk about game releases here.

I was talking about the original Nintendo release Tyler ! But I guess you thought I had meant some illegal stuff :D

This patcher is only for EEPROM v124 save types and a lot of latest games are coming out with this format (e.g.: NFS: U and Max Payne)

For other types of EEPROM saves you may use GBA Tool Advance 0.3, Flash Advance Toolkit (F.A.T.) V8 FAT and SRAMPatcher by Dadycool.
