New PS2 User Needs Help With Copying
 

I am a completely new user to copying PS2 games and i have read the stickies but still don't understand. The hardware i have at the moment is:

CDR Drive
DVD Rom (not DVD-r)
PS2 (not hacked or modded)

What do i do

Get a Messiah 2 or DMS3 modchip installed.
Get some Ritek/Verbatim DVD-R
get some Verbatim DataLife PLUS CD-R

He says he only has a dvd rom. So that means he doesnt need the Ritek/Verbatim DVD-R since he cant burn dvdr.

@dghjarrett,

Youll only be able to backup your cd version games (blue bottom). Until you get a dvd burner and replace your dvd-rom drive you wont be able to back up your dvd ps2 games.
