trouble copying Bust a Move 2

Hi...i am use CloneCD to copy games, and all was working fine a time.
But now i cant copy bust a move 2 (PAL) witch should be unprotected.

The Game loads and the menu appears...but when i klick on start the game is freezing...i tryed many different propertiees for Clone
CD but nothing works...whats up with this game ???

By the way...can anyone tell me (for a newb) why its impossible to copy the boot-section of a PSX-CD ???
Is there any software to copy this Boot Block ??

Try using cdrwin and see if you can get it to work with it. www.goldenhawks.com

The boot section can actually be read from your cd burner but, when it comes to burning they cannot be burned because of their size. No cd burner can burn them.

Sony uses cd presses to put them on the disc.

Dirty/scratched original?

elfblood 10-12-2003 23:39

Yes, but the PSX can read the original....

Do you get any readerrors when you try to backup the disc?
If you do then it won't work.
No readerrors are accepted.
Tried to read the disc in 1x?

crazygamelover 11-12-2003 03:47

Just out of curiosity , What kind of hardware and media are you using?

also what model number PSX and mod chip?

elfblood 11-12-2003 04:48

Clone CD tells me no Read Errors...

I use the small PS-One (donīt know modell number) and a Exploder CD...

TylerDurden 11-12-2003 05:30

Yeah CloneCD will hardly ever give you read errors because it sometimes reads scratches as data. Which sucks whenever your trying to patch a game.

That doesn't matter. The disc has to be in better shape to burn than to play. Try cleaning it with some dish soap and warm water and if it is scratched try some car polish.

im shure i already replied to this 2 days ago.. oh well.. here i go again:

when you press to start the game.. it does a check on the cd to see if its a real cd.. or something like that.. use the swaptrick to get it to work.. i had the same problem.. you only have to do it once, not before every level
