uh oh... safedisc 3
 

looking at the safedisc version 3 on the protections list, it seems that safedisc3 is impossible to make a 1:1 perfect copy, and supposedly Call of Duty uses it. does this worry you in any way that 1:1 copies might not be possible anymore if more game companies start using this protection? that woud be bad news for sure.

Seriously: Copy 1:1 seems to be easier than some earlier versions..like 2.9...(darn thingie) and if that ****s up, you can always get the crack....oh, yes, there is one..in case you missed it (sarcastic voice)

I just read this from the avault site:

SonyDACS has just released their latest SecuROM v5 protection which will have protection against emulation software...

Well, we'll just see about that....is it gonna be another lousy blacklist or did they learn something this time...

BTW, what are they doing back at in the Daemon tools & Alcohol 120 labs ? Time 4 a (serious) update...
