Problem, Please Help!
I am shipping off my ps2 to norcalmods.com tomorrow to have an apple pro installed (yay!). but i am having a problem....
Currently, I have a v7 no solder mod chip in my v7 ps2. Do I have to take it out? If so, i am having a problem! for some reason one of the little cables i plugged into the no solder isn't long enough to plug back in to the ps2! plus i am having a bitch of a time getting the one i can reach to the ps2 back into the ps2! (i am afraid of taking my ps2 apart too much). if i need to take it out maybe i will just ask him to do it when he has my ps2 all spralled out. (i really do want it out though so i can sell it to someone else). thanks for your help |
u can just leave it in there it wont hurt any thing and u never know when u might need it when new games come out like my apple use to play ever thing till 2x toc checks ame out then it would not work but they fixed that porb with the cd loaders for the no solder chips so u never know when u might need it plus u wont screw up ur ps2 :)

ok, so it wont hurt anything having them both installed?
thanks for the fast response |
nope wont hurt nothing at all and it might come in handy when playing copys online there getting close to solveing it we know that it only checks for the copy 1 time while playing online and to swap out invloves a no solder or flip to to swap the origianl out but for now we keep r fingers crossed and hope they figer this out :) plus why would be bad if u tuged on the ribbon cable to hard and it came off the other in them ps2s r a b***h to get back togather

If you are getting a Apple Pro installed have the installer remove the no-solder. It serves no purpose.
