Daemon tools and original cd question
I'll make this simple. I've just bought Trackmania from Gameplay and can't play it because I keep getting asked for the CD. This is not unusual as my ROM drives or MOBO (Not sure which) don't seem to like the new securerom. This normally doesn't bother me as I just use a nocd crack. I will have to upgrade my machine soon, as games like XIII are simply unplayable (I get asked for the magnetic key card, even though the original cd is in the drive!), but for the moment I'd like to know if there is a workaround so I can play Trackmania. Would Daemon tools allow me to play it? Thanks
p.s.PLEASE don't flame me for being a WAREZ monkey, as I have never/will never use stolen software. |
you can only use daemon tools for virtual drives, meaning you got to have an iso,bin or whatever so he makes a virtual drive for you so the computer thinks theres a disc in that drive, but its only the bin in a virtual drive, what you can do is strip the nocd protection, but thats freakin hard, dont ask how :D btw check youre pm's :)

You can try Alcohol 120%.
Make an image of your original cd using the Securom New 4.8x profile in Alcohol 120%. Then mount the image in an Alcohol VirtualDrive and enable the securom emulation. |
i thought tracksmania was starforce3

Perhaps it is, I don't know.
