How to burn Spellforce cd1?
 

If i use the burned cd1 of spellforce it comes a message before instalation that he cant locate the origninal cd but what ican i do i have try it 4 more times and it wont work please can anyone help me

Wenn jemand deutsches das liest kann er mir helfen also ich will das game von der kopierten cd instalieren aber es geht nicht er zeigt immer an das ich die originale einlegen soll O_o was soll das bitte kann mir einer helfen? ich will nciht unbedingt die originale benutzen ^^

Guess why they won't let install from a copy?? The copy protection is Securom *new* 4.85. Try Copy tools like Alcohol 120% or Blindwrite.
By the way. The game is totally buged. First load the patch on the homepage.

THX EHM I HAVE COPY IT WITH ALK 120% but it wont work i dont know what i can do does it give a patch for the setup menue or something

hmm can you give me your icq or msn or something plz perhaps you can help me i need that crack or information how to burn the cd 1 or a fix to burn it

Try this:
1. Create a Disk Image with alcohol 120% with the Option for Securom new v. 4
2. You only need the .mds file you can abort the Image creation after the DPM messurement (DPM only 4X because of mistakes in higher speeds)
3. Create an Image with Blind write.
4. Open Physical CD caracteristics editor (Part of Blind Write shown in Start menu)
5. Convert the .mds file to .bwa
6. Burn with blind write

After that it should work, but in most cases only on your System.

But.. i have to say it's a tricky quest to solve ;)

hmm well a blindwrite clone of it was released, so i guess you might want to try using blindwrite.. clone only worked when burned tho, never worked when i mounted it

and its protected with a little more than securom *new*, try securom, triggers, some packer on the exe (cant remember which exactly now), along with the usual jowood **** that makes most of their games not even run for ppl with an original cd

Ok I tried what vooby said.
I also tried to make a BWA directly with the BWA Builder and then Twinpeaked the files.

Nothing worked.

Shouldn't it be possible to crack the setupfile like any exe and copy the disk with the new setup.exe?

And that's why it's best to stay the hell away from all joW00t crap. Their games are overprotected so if you're lucky to get a clean install, the game totally screws up when trying to play.

yep for a company who claim piracy is pushing them into bankruptsy, they are doing a considerably good job of pissing off their own customers by applying this new protection crap, which generallly results in a very very annoyed user base as can be seen on their forum...

i heard a scary rumor too, the next jowood release will cost you $1000 per month, because they are going to include a securicor guard with every box to prevent you copying/backing up the disk and of course the end user has to pay the salary for the guard ;p

Oh my...don't give them any ideas, I'm only waiting for the day when the users starts to complain when running a joW00t game and the game tells you that the "exe" it not a valid win32 application" cuz the file structure is f'cked up to the degree that it hardly can be called executable anymore.

Why the hell do they want you to shut down your AV and firewall before installing? I won't say anything, it'll come to you ;)
