different boot methods?
 

Alright, last Xmas I bought a premodded xbox from china town, but then i had to leave home for a while, and now that im back, I can't remember for the life of me which chip he installed. I once got a burned audio cd to play in it, but i don't remember how i did it.

can anyone list different ways to boot up the xbox to get the chip to start for different chips?

Well, it is either pressing the eject or power button, those are the only 2 ways. And most chips aren't set up like that, instead there is a simple on/off switch.

A modchip also won't enable burned music cd's to read. It all depends on the hardware, which software does not effect it. Idf your xbox will read burned music cd's, it would have done so without a chip. Some dvd-roms read it, some don't, all depends on the brand. Fortunately, all dvd-roms read cd-rw's, so you probably used one of those.
